Join us for the first annual Fall Arts Festival in historic downtown Elizabethton on Saturday, October 4, 2025! This exciting, free family-friendly event will celebrate the rich creative spirit of our region with a full day of arts and culture from 10 AM to 7 PM.

Enjoy a vibrant mix of artist vendor booths, live demonstrations, hands-on kids' activities, and live performances featuring local musicians, dancers, and storytellers. From pottery and painting to fiber arts and blacksmithing, you'll find inspiration around every corner.

Don’t miss the interactive art zones, local food trucks, and special appearances from community groups. Whether you're an art lover, performer, family, or curious explorer—this festival offers something for everyone.

Come be part of a new Elizabethton tradition that brings the arts to the heart of our community! Hosted by the Elizabethton Arts and Cultural Alliance (ElizArts). Admission is free.

Check in for the contest at 411 E Elk drive in Downtown Elizabethton at the Fall Art Festival on Oct 4th and you will be assigned a spot. Registrants must provide their own supplies. The winner will be selected by people's choice. Voting will begin at 3pm and the winner will be announced at 5:45pm at the Festival. Limited to the first 10 registrants.

Photography Contest Submission Form

Submissions Due: September 28, 11:55pm

Fill out your information below and submit your photo by uploading via the upload file field or by entering a link to your photo in the "link to photo in drive" field. Photo must have been taken in Carter County.


The jury will review the entries and select the top ten. The Winner will be determined by people's choice voting. The top ten photo submissions will be on display at the Fall Art Festival in Downtown Elizabethton on Oct 4th and voting will take place throughout the Festival. The winner will be announced at 5:45pm at the festival.

Fall Art Festival Volunteer Sign-Up Form

Morning (8am - 11am)

Set up stage, tents, tables and chairs, check-in vendors, check-in chalk art contest participants, host hospitality area


Mid-Day (11am-2pm), Afternoon (2pm - 5pm)

Host hospitality area, assist artists and event leaders as needed, assist with children's activities, check-in chalk art contest participants, host the photo contest voting station


Evening (6pm - 9pm)

Take down stage, tents, tables and chairs
